Hatmeo Screw Extractor

This is a very good thing to have around when you accidentally strip out a screw. Especially when it's in the wrong place.The bits are solid and labeled.They come in a case. That means they won't be knocking around loose in the bottom of a drawer somewhere!

This is a very nice set of screw extractors. I have an outdoor grill that is stainless steel but all the screws that hold things in place are regular carbon steel. Several were rusted in place and you could not get a drive to take hold of them, the head would just strip out. Only have used the smallest in the set but it worked just fine. I'm sure all the others will if the need arises.

I ordered this set when I was replacing the hardware on my kitchen cabinets. I had several screws that were either stripped or would not budget. This set worked beautifully! Instead of fighting with the screws this set allowed me to drill into the stubborn screw and extract them. The set comes with four different bits, are nicely secured in a handy case and the set is very nicely priced.

Arrived quickly, came with simple instructions. This set ultimately saved me from having to dismantle my partially built couch. I would have had to by new boxing, repackage, and then carry the couch down multiple staircases to ship out and return to seller (which would have been a nightmare). With this kit I managed to drill out my bald screw (within minutes) and replace it to finalize assembly.

I bought this kit as a last resort; I did not have high hopes, since the screw holding in my laptop hard drive was absolutely tiny. Imagine my surprise when it worked immediately, with zero issues, even around such delicate electronics. I had tried to get the screw out myself by trying the duct tape and rubber band tricks, and I even tried plyers, but the thing wouldn't come out. I used this, and it worked immediately on the skinny drill side - it just popped it right out after a few seconds of firm pressure and slow counter-clockwise torque. I didn't even have to flip the bit around. I am super happy, it was a good price and it fixed my problem zero difficulty, and now I have it on hand if I ever run into any other problems.
